One such solution - which is part of our company's strategy - is distance learning. We plan to form a separate division with a higher education institution considering the following aspects:
1. The general aim of the division
is to provide high quality postgraduate
education. Initially it will focus
on meeting domestic demand, but later
it will expand abroad in two aspects:
- utilizing the satellite data transmission
technology it will offer education
to the Hungarian-speaking population
of the Carpathian Basin,
- establishing contact with reputable
Western universities and providing
the opportunity for the students to
spend at least one semester at one
of these universities.
2. Strong cooperation within the
management will integrate the supervision
of the professionalism of the staff
and the teaching methods on the one
hand, and the information technology's
sufficient background and operation
and the teaching materials' programming
and successful delivery to the end-users
on the other. For secure and profitable
usage of the invested infrastructure
and human capital, several common
subjects and effective technical-economic
supervision will ensure the high degree
of synergies.
3. The bulk of our investment will be affected during the first 2 years of the project in three installments, reflecting the needs of the market. We will offer majors in the popular fields and in fields rarely offered by other institutions, but high interest is indicated by market research.
